The United Nations System in Guatemala (SNU) and the International Commission against Impunity in Guatemala (CICIG) expressed appreciation for the important achievements made in recent years by the Attorney General’s Office in the fight against impunity in Guatemala and they said they will pay attention to the appointment of the new or the new Attorney General and Head of the Public Ministry to continue the joint effort to strengthen the justice system.
