CIFCA and APRODEV welcome the invitation to openly discuss with the European Parliament representatives on the content and scope of the bilateral strategies of the EU with El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
We welcome the invitation was sent with enough time to include inputs by our members and partners colleagues working in these countries.
We also reiterate our regret over the lack of transparency on the content of the documents prepared by the European Commission, highlighting once again the difficulties of contributing to EU processes without clear background information.
